Based on a recent conversation on the IDD Health Matters podcast, Understanding Trauma-Informed Care for IDD, Dr. Karyn Harvey spoke about how trauma influences behavior, identity, and a person’s ability to heal—and why supporters must look beyond “what’s wrong” to understand what someone has been through.

While more details will be shared soon, you can explore an overview of the course now by downloading the one-page course overview below. Subscribe to IntellectAbility’s newsletter to stay up-to-date.
