Blue Envelope Program

The Blue Envelope Program helps improve communication and understanding between individuals with developmental disabilities and law enforcement during traffic stops or other encounters. Drivers can keep important information inside the blue envelope — such as communication preferences or emergency contacts — to share with officers when needed.

This program is a partnership between local law enforcement and the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities, working together to promote safety, understanding, and inclusion in our community.
