Outreach
Started quarterly meetings of the DCBDD Family Forum, to provide a space for families to connect with other families and share feedback on services, supports, and emerging needs
Launched our Waiver Provider Training Series, to support those who provide direct services to people served by DCBDD
Presented at the Innovation Series conference on the power and impact of DCBDD’s community partnerships
Initiatives
Launched our Access to Leadership program to prepare people supported by DCBDD for leadership opportunities in the community
Facilitated the inclusion of a universal changing table at the new Kroger Marketplace in Powell, and received a commitment from Kroger to include universal changing tables in all new stores nationwide
