Join DCBDD for our Advocacy Roundtable to learn about the rights people with disabilities have in the voting booth! People served by DCBDD and their guardians can join DCBDD, ElevateDD, and Delaware County Board of Elections to learn:
- How to register to vote
- What a ballot looks like
- What advocacy is
- How to cast your ballot
- What accessible assistance you have the right to when you vote
- How guardians and supporters can assist people with disabilities

Kids of all ages can discover their inner farmer at this family-friendly event. Climb a tractor, feed the chickens, help press fresh apple cider, walk the trails, shop with and learn something from local vendors and community partners, make a seasonal craft and more! Whether you’re savoring the taste of fresh apple cider or marveling at the beauty of fall foliage, the Harvest Fair is the perfect way to connect with nature and experience the joys of the season with the Stratford family!
Walk-ins welcome, but pre-registration is highly encouraged to let us know you’re coming to help us estimate the attendance for the day. It also guarantees a speedy check-in process when you get here! Pre-registration closes Friday, October 2nd at 9am.

The Market at Evans Farms

The Market at Evans Farm is a farmers market located in Lewis Center, Ohio in Evans Farm. It operates every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM during the summer season (June through September) and 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM during the fall season (October). The market features a variety of vendors offering fresh produce, local food and baked goods, artisan crafts, flowers, and handmade gifts.
Berlin Township Fire Department Open House

Dublin Transition Fair

A free resource fair for students with developmental disabilities and their families to assist in mapping their way through high school and beyond. This event is open to anyone in Central Ohio.
The interactive resource fair will feature table booths from agencies in Franklin, Delaware, and Union County. Resource topics will include therapies, adult day programs, transportation, employment, advocacy, supported living, and more!
This is a FREE event for anyone in Central Ohio to attend, and vendors can have a table for free.
Westerville Fourth Friday

Westerville Fourth Friday is a longstanding street festival draws 10,000-30,000 people monthly to the Westerville’s historic Uptown business district, from 6-9 p.m. on the fourth Friday evening of each month, from May through October (six festivals).
From May through September, the festivals feature a popular band performance, street performers, activities and entertainment throughout, food trucks, specialty features, and more than 100 vendors.
Wild About SIBS Ohio SIBS Daytime Gala

Join Ohio SIBS for an unforgettable event at the Columbus Zoo celebrating the strength, resilience, and lifelong impact of sibling relationships. Guests will enjoy an exclusive animal encounter, hear inspiring stories from siblings of individuals with disabilities, and learn how Ohio SIBS creates connection, education, and support for siblings and families across Ohio.
During the evening, Ohio SIBS will present two Sibling Awards recognizing adult siblings who provide meaningful support to their brother or sister and serve as advocates for people with disabilities in their communities. We will also present our Change Agent Award honoring a partner whose work has made a lasting impact on siblings of individuals with disabilities and families across the broader community.
This event raises critical support for programs that ensure siblings have access to peer connection, resources, and lifelong support. Through your sponsorship and participation, you help ensure that no sibling walks this journey alone.
Genoa Township Fall Festival

DCBDD will be at Genoa Township’s Fall Fest on Saturday, October 24, from noon–3 p.m. at Freeman’s Farm! Stop by for pumpkin bowling and enjoy an afternoon of trick-or-treating, hayrides, live music, a petting zoo, games, a costume contest and more. A fully accessible, universally designed mobile restroom will also be available at the event with support from DCBDD.

Trails & Treats

Trails & Treats is a community event hosted by City of Delaware Parks and Rec, we invite all families to dress up and come down to Mingo Park for some tricker-treating fun around our path. There will be games, live music, bring the farm to you petting zoo and some food trucks. End your walk at the Pumpkin Patch where you can take a pumpkin home with you while supplies last.

DD Awareness Day with the Columbus Crew

ScottsMiracle-Gro Field
On Saturday, October 31, the Crew will host a match celebrating inclusion and creating a welcoming experience for people with developmental disabilities, their families, and the community. The match kicks off at 2 p.m. at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.
The day will include accessibility-focused features, including sensory-friendly spaces, sensory rooms, and universal changing tables.
