National Night Out

Powell City Office
Join the Powell Police Department and Liberty Township Fire Department for a free cookout on National Night Out. Meet your local first responders and explore their vehicles.
Enjoy free hot dogs and snacks while you interact with community organizations.
National Night Out is an annual campaign to strengthen the bonds between first responders and their communities. Police and fire departments across the nation participate.

Tanger Outlets
Kick off the new school year with a day full of family fun at Tanger Columbus’ Back to School Bash sponsored by Sunbelt Bakery. Join us Friday, August 7 from 1-3PM near Nike.

Accessible Ohio Conference & Expo

The Hartford Fair

Hartford Fairgrounds
The Hartford Fair is one of Ohio’s largest and longest-running county fairs, bringing together agriculture, entertainment, family fun, and community tradition each August in Croton. Known as “The Biggest Little Fair in the World,” the weeklong event features livestock shows and competitions, grandstand entertainment, carnival rides, tractor pulls, harness racing, arts and crafts exhibits, delicious fair food, and activities for all ages. With a strong focus on youth through its Junior Fair and 4-H programs, the Hartford Fair celebrates the agricultural heritage of central Ohio while offering something for every member of the family.

Zoombezi Bay Quiet After Hours
August 28, 5 p.m.
Columbus Zoo & Aquarium
Zoombezi Bay will offer Quiet After Hours for guests to enjoy the attractions of the waterpark during a less stimulating time, without the added background sounds (such as music throughout the park), that can be challenging for individuals with sensory needs.
- The waves in the Wave Pool will be on for only half the event, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- A limited amount of sensory kits with noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, and fidget devices will be available at Guest Relations for a $10 refundable deposit.
- Character Ambassadors will be available for meet-and-greets at select times.
Westerville Fourth Friday

Uptown Westerville
Westerville Fourth Friday is a longstanding street festival draws 10,000-30,000 people monthly to the Westerville’s historic Uptown business district, from 6-9 p.m. on the fourth Friday evening of each month, from May through October (six festivals).
From May through September, the festivals feature a popular band performance, street performers, activities and entertainment throughout, food trucks, specialty features, and more than 100 vendors.
